Gandhi
Mahal is a restaurant dedicated to peace, and principles that Mohandas Gandhi advocated in his lifetime- a life of satyagraha: voluntary simplicity and the practice of peace by utilizing campaigns for the alleviation of poverty, and an end to discrimination against people. He advocated a common humanity that transcended sectarian principles, and became the “father of India” with his ability to bring diverse people with different beliefs together in a common bond. We have dedicated portions of our menu to a strict vegetarian diet, in honor of our shared beginnings, and for the sake of coming together to enjoy the dining experience.
We are a full spice, full menu Northern-style Indian restaurant that utilizes recipes that have survived in our family for many generations. Our mission is to provide high quality, healthy food that promotes a peaceful mind and experience in a hospitable and comforting environment.
